CARD ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

Controlling access to your facility has been a rapidly growing part of our business.

There are several ways to restricting access to areas.

1) Keypad. Keypads are the most inexpensive way of controlling access to doors. However, once the code is given out you really don’t know who actually used the code.

2) Biometric. Biometric is the “buzz word” in the industry. We have found fingerprint readers are the preferred method. They are the more expensive than a card reader and we have customers that don’t feel comfortable presenting their finger on a reader not knowing how clean the previous user’s finger was.

3) Proximity Card Access. This is the type of system we recommend more than any other. A person is issued a card and they are responsible for it’s use. The proximity card never actually touches the reader and out lasts any other type of reader.
